The Turn Golf League Manager

Getting the Most Out of The Turn

A guided tour of the app's features and best practices — from your weekly dashboard to the trust layer that backs every round.

This walkthrough covers the app end to end in writing and real screenshots — we don't have a recorded video version yet, so consider this the next best thing.

1

Your weekly dashboard

"This week" is home base: who's playing, who's out, and one-click links straight to the live leaderboard and that week's scorecards. It's the page a commissioner opens most.

2

Roster and handicaps

Every golfer's contact info, Handicap Index, and assigned tees live in one table. Indexes can be entered directly or left to establish themselves automatically as rounds publish — see the Handicap 101 guide for the full picture.

3

Courses, without the data entry

Photograph a blank scorecard from the pro shop and The Turn reads the pars, stroke indexes, yardages, and ratings off it — then checks its own math against the card's printed totals before saving anything.

4

A season on the schedule

Add every round with its date, course, and which nine (or all eighteen) you're playing. The whole season sits on one page, and each round is a click away from tee times, scorecards, and results.

5

Scorecards that print themselves

Once golfers are grouped into tee times, print real scorecards straight from the app — pars, stroke indexes, yardages, and a QR code linked to live scoring for that exact round, all generated automatically.

6

Live scoring on game day

Golfers scan the QR code on their card and enter scores hole by hole. Everyone watching — at the turn, in the clubhouse, at home — sees live, unofficial standings update as the group plays.

7

Standings that update themselves

Once a round publishes, birdies, pars, and season point totals update automatically — no separate spreadsheet tab to maintain. Every golfer can see exactly where they stack up.

8

A trust layer, not a hope

Every roster change, score correction, and handicap update is logged — who did it, and when. A spreadsheet has no memory of who changed a formula last week. The Turn always does, and any commissioner can see it.
